Stretch film

Stretch film, also known as stretch film or playo, is an auxiliary in the storage and transportation systems of logistic distribution processes. It is an almost essential material for its benefits in the protection of goods and ease of handling.

This film helps to a correct palletization of the merchandise, since it groups the delicate merchandise without mistreating it, avoiding common damages such as scratches or scrapes. It can also compact large volume pallets. Since the stretch film or playo is transparent, the merchandise can be identified at all times and its condition can be monitored. Codes and labels are visible at all times.

Shrinkable film

Shrink wrap, also shrink wrap or shrink film, is a material composed of plastic film polymer. (Polyethylene resins). When heat is applied, it shrinks tightly over what it is covering. Heat can be applied with a hand held heat gun (gas or electric) or the product and the film can pass through a heat tunnel on a conveyor.

The heat shrink film is applied on or around the intended item, often by automated equipment. It is then heated by a heat gun or sent through a shrink tunnel or oven for heat shrink.

Shrink film can be supplied in the following forms:

- Flat film can be wrapped around a product, often with heat sealing to tack the film together.

- Double film is supplied on a roll with the plastic and folded in half, the product is placed in the center part, the other three edges are sealed to form a bag, and the package is then heated which causes the bag to shrink and fit the product placed in the bag.

- Preformed shrink bags plastic bags are used with an open end: the product is placed in the bag, sealed and shipped to reduce heat.

Laminated Film

These are heat-shrinkable or rigid polyethylene films with different layers of materials that can be used for wrapping and packaging of specific products with conservation, protection and sealing properties required by the customer, mainly in the production of food grade, medical and other products.

Among the most common uses of this laminate are the production of sachet-type containers for powdered, granulated, solid, liquid and viscous food products.

Laminated films are made up of 2 or more layers of different substrates bonded together by means of chemical resistant adhesives and certified to form part of a bag for food, chemicals, coffee, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.

The function of the lamination is to contain, to offer greater security, to make a barrier to oxygen and humidity to protect the product and keep it longer on the shelf, exhibition, storage or during transportation and handling free of any contaminant element.

Bale

BALE is the name given to the products developed to later seal and produce long or large wrapping or packaging according to customers' needs. The plastic film is supplied on a roll with the plastic folded in half of its total width. The group of products is placed in the middle, like a deep bag or sack, the other 2 edges are sealed to form a bag or package that becomes the length or size defined by the customer in their packaging manufacturing process. This is known as tubular presentation.

It is often the best packaging solution for multiple presentations of individual products, ideal for wholesale marketing or specific delivery presentations. For example: create packs of 5 bags of rice, beans, seeds, etc. that are also packaged in a commercial presentation of 1 kg each). It is also applied in the production of individual wide packaging sizes. For example, sealed packaging that protects new mattresses from contaminants and mistreatment during transportation.

It is available in a variety of thicknesses, clarities, strengths and colors, as it can be natural or pigmented. And transparent or printed with the design required by the customer in the dimensions that are possible.
